SFDG -> Specific Books -> Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep

Raja Thiagarajan says
This was the first time the Science Fiction Discussion Group met at Borders. At the time we were only having our "usual weekly meetings"; I think we were scrounging rooms unofficially in Lindley Hall at Indiana University. If I recall correctly (and I definitely want to hear any corrections!) Gregory Rawlins argued that we should go to the Borders meeting and see if we could perhaps put the word out about our group, or merge with that group. I was a little hesitant, but luckily Gregory convinced me.
We didn't choose the book; as you might infer from the Borders flyer ad above, the book was chosen by the employee who was in charge of the Borders "Sci-Fi/Fantasy Discussion Group" at the time. (Her name is eluding me at the moment.)
The meeting was small; I think Gregory and Julie England and I were there, as well as the Borders person, and a fan of PKD, and possibly that fan's girlfriend.
I have no further recollections whatsoever of the meeting, of what we discussed, or what we might have concluded, but it obviously must have worked out pretty well. After all, we're still meeting once a month at Borders, five years later ....
